Your Responsibilities
Working at Sensirion allows you to tackle an array of exciting challenges every day. Set new standards in the field of sensor technology as part of a highly motivated interdisciplinary team. Your future colleague Christian (R&D Engineer) describes his day-to-day work below.
What are the specific tasks?
My main task is the technical leadership and development of our public measurement framework, ControlCenter. Our technically diverse team takes an agile approach using Scrum. Requirements are clarified with the appropriate contacts, translated into technical requirements and planned. There's no such thing as a boring work day here, because there's a huge amount of variety and contact with other team members, product owners and stakeholders. I am always actively involved in creating a successful product and also work on other topics in order to make the team and the company a success. What are the daily challenges?
The interdisciplinary contact with project leaders, product managers and other R&D engineers is demanding, but it allows us to optimize costs, development time and quality. We chose the object-oriented language Python for ControlCenter, but we always make use of the best tool for the job. That's why the team also uses Rust, Dart (Flutter), C and other languages, which means continuous further training. What are the daily challenges?
