  • Strong technical degree from a university of applied sciences (physics, electrical engineering, industrial engineering, etc.)
  • Flair for commercial topics that enables you to clearly work out the financial benefits of your solution for the customer and fully address your customer's sales potential.
  • Excellent communication skills; ability to offer clear explanations and persuasive arguments, both internally and externally.
  • Good people skills paired with the curiosity to find out what the customer really needs.

As a Key Account Manager at Sensirion, you can apply your in-depth technical knowledge and sales talent in a sector with more than 30% growth per year. What are the specific tasks?

You are the interface between our customers and Sensirion. In this role, you develop an in-depth understanding of the customer's technical and economic challenges with the goal of being able to offer them a suitable solution. This takes place in close collaboration with the R&D, product management and field application engineering teams. The ability to understand the application and the customer's market is key to being able to offer the customer added value. The goal of your work is to make our key accounts more successful on the market in the long term.

What are the daily challenges?

You need to be able to adeptly lead customer meetings, most of which include engineers. This requires extensive knowledge of a broad range of our sensors. You will communicate with a wide variety of cultures, which can be very demanding. Various stakeholders need to be persuaded in order for a customer to select Sensirion. This means that another main challenge is communication with various functions within a customer organization. This persuasive capacity is also essential internally in order to have the capacity to generate certain solutions.
