Product Manager Gas Sensors

Your Profile

Degree in engineering or natural sciences (e.g. physics, chemistry)
PhD or relevant initial work experience is an advantage
Technology enthusiast with a strong focus on customers and markets
Open and communicative personality; willingness to travel (10-20%)

Your Responsibilities

You play a key role in managing and expanding Sensirion's gas sensor portfolio. By representing our customers' requirements in a cross-functional team, you shape our next generation of gas sensors from the commercial side through the entire product life cycle, from the initial idea to the market launch. You coordinate the sales activities for key customers with our sales network and train our sales force on the technical aspects of our latest products. What are the specific tasks?

As Product Managers, we represent the interface between customers, product development, production and quality management, and work closely with colleagues in our global subsidiaries. By examining in-depth market information and based on direct conversations with key customers, we define the technical and commercial requirements of future sensors.

What are the daily challenges?

The ability to grasp concepts quickly and an entrepreneurial mindset enable me to quickly understand our customers' high-tech applications and problems and to translate these into sensor solutions. Thanks to my structured working style, I am able to take advantage of the position's flexibility to effectively organize my activities, develop creative solutions and maintain an overview when things get busys.
